The sixth year of Targa - 2009
Tuesday, February 17th, 2009Preparation is underway for another Targa, but I fear that this might be the last for a number of years. I say that every year I attend the Melbourne Gran Prix, but once again this year the boys have a 4 day corporate pass to this event.
This is Paul and my 5th campaign together, but with a new baby and new family pressures, I am sure 5 times sitting beside me in the Navigators seat is enough. Paul has recently acquired another race car, this time a rally prepared mini. I suspect it will be soon joining the tramac rally scene in anger with Paul at the wheel.
Entries are in and final paperwork is being organised, and then there is the car and the driver. I will try to complete in a number of club events this year to clear the cobwebs.
