Targa has appointed a new Director Mark Perry, and with that comes some great changes to targa. The event os now condensed with less “hang around” days. We are currently sorting out the accomodation, and with the awards dinner being moved from the Monday night to the Sunday night we can all party and head back to Melbourne on the Tuesday night.
We submitted our request to run our car as a Carrera CS, and they have accepted this, but moved us to LMS (limited modified) instead of Standard class. looks like we are not adding the spoilers, Limited Slip and different wheels. That is ok, I had decided it would be nice to run an LSD, but that can wait one more year.
I will be discussing why they rated these mods as non standard, and maybe we can be reset to standard class …. cross fingers.
